Use of gamma-ray spectrometry for prediction, exploration and evaluation of deposits of strategic metals
The relevance of the project consists in the fact that presently, there is a serious problem of depletion of reserves of currently mined deposits and the exploration of strategic metals, prediction and evaluation of new deposits. And gamma-ray spectrometric methods are widely and effectively used for the prediction, exploration and evaluation of deposits of strategic metals.
Goals and objectives of the project
The goal of the project is to analyze the gamma spectrometric methods for prediction, exploration and evaluation of strategic metals. The objectives of the project are the study of the distribution of elements in rocks, minerals and ores; analysis of the methods for measuring radioactivity and the concentration of radioactive elements; the study of the behavior of radioactive elements in the generation of hydrothermal deposits, study of the occurrence of deposits in radiogeochemical fields; assessment of prospects of radiogeochemical methods for exploration, prediction and evaluation of deposits of strategic metals.
The current status of the project is the stage of studying of the distribution of elements in rocks, minerals, and ores.
